Fifty Years of the Chevrolet Camaro

Fifty years ago, Chevrolet introduced a car that would become one of the most revered vehicles in its sports car lineup. Code named XP-836, the Camaro was Chevrolet’s contender in what would become one of the hottest segments in the automotive industry. The Camaro was Chevrolet’s entry into the pony car market that was wildly popular in the 1960s. It’s been said the word Camaro is derived from the French language meaning friend or comrade. That’s a pretty fitting way to describe a car that’s been a companion with many of us for half a century. Let’s turn back the clock and look back at 50 years of classic Camaros. We didn’t need another reason to love the 2017 Ford GT even more but we can’t help but drool at the pics of the upcoming ’66 Heritage Edition. This limited edition racer features matte or gloss Shadow Black paint and silver stripes running the length of the car. The car is also adorned with #2 Frozen White hood and door graphics similar to those worn by the winning racecar. Chevrolet Introduces the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport

Chevrolet unveiled the new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport at the Geneva International Motor Show. This latest iteration of the legendary Grand Sport pedigree features lightweight construction, track-born aerodynamics, and a 460 horsepower LT1 V8 engine.
