2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R #6

The Ford SVT Mustang Cobra R is our featured muscle car in this edition of the Muscle Car Showcase. Developed by Ford’s newly-formed Special Vehicle Team, this snake was a factory-bred, street-legal racer with minimal frills but loaded with plenty of performance equipment. The Cobra R also brought back the factory racer that had been absent from Ford’s lineup for way too long. Quite simply, there was nothing quite like the Cobra R during its three year production run. In this edition of the Muscle Car Showcase, we’ll turn back the clock and check out the 1965-1966 Shelby GT350. 1964 Plymouth Barracuda #2 TCB

In this edition of the Muscle Car Showcase, we’ll explore the 1964-1969 Plymouth Barracuda. This scrappy little fish was the original pony car, making waves in the muscle car world two weeks prior to the Mustang. Some may say this generation of the Barracuda is the Rodney Dangerfield of the early pony cars. It just doesn’t get the respect it deserves. However, this sporty fastback sank its teeth into the other pony cars every chance it got. It may have been a small fish in a large pond but we think this overlooked car is worth checking out.
